FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kinzie Matz and Taylor Zeller
We've compiled a list of the things we think are most important to know about our wedding! You will find our contact information at the bottom of this page and you are free to contact us at any time.
Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm. Please arrive promptly to ensure adequate time to reach your seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are having a dress code for our wedding. Formal: Suits and gowns are welcome, and so are khakis and cocktail dresses. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or flannel shirts. Our ceremony and reception will both be held indoors, so heels or flats are suitable.

Question

What kind of weather should I prepare for?

Answer

We wish we knew! October in Colorado can be sunny and 75 or a blizzard; likely, it will be mid-60s and partially sunny. Please check the weather forecast prior to departing for Colorado and pack accordingly. Regardless of weather, our ceremony and reception will both be indoors, and remember that Colorado evenings can get chilly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome as listed on your RSVP! Keep in mind that we are catering a pasta bar for the wedding and will not have a specific kids option for food. In the ceremony space, there is a designated room in case you or your children need a moment to yourselves.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please let us know as soon as possible so we can contact the caterer and arrange an alternative for you. Likely allergens that will be present at dinner/dessert include wheat and gluten, egg, poultry, and dairy.

Question

Can I bring a date or guest?

Answer

When filling out the online RSVP form, it will alert you as to whether or not you are able to bring an additional guest. Please do not bring an additional guest if it is not listed on the invitation, as we have carefully chosen our guest list thoroughly to align with our budget and who to spend this day with. If you have concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue has ample parking for everyone. If you plan on consuming alcohol, please have a designated driver to and from the venue as there is no overnight parking allowed.

Question

Can I take photos of the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We are working with an extremely talented photographer who will capture the moments for us - we would hate to have a stray iPhone ruin any of the ceremony photos. We will be having a "photo moment" during the ceremony, at which time you are able to take pictures as desired before resuming the ceremony. At the reception, take as many pictures as you like! We would love for you to be in at least one photo from the evening to commemorate your attendance, so keep an eye out for our photographer, Ed!

Question

Will there be a cocktail hour?

Answer

We are having a cocktail hour! There will be small appetizers served, as well as an open bar for beer and wine with cocktails available for purchase. Following cocktail hour, the bar will be a cash bar for the rest of the evening.

Question

When will the event end?

Answer

We have the venue until 10:30 pm; last call for alcohol will be at ~8:30p and cleanup will begin shortly after 10pm. Feel free to continue the celebration back at the hotel!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is located on this website under the "Registry" tab. There are links to a variety of stores and gift options, as well as Honeymoon Funds and a First Home Fund. Gifts are completely optional - we are just excited to have you joining us!

Question

What do we need to know about COVID-19?

Answer

As we have many at-risk family members, friends, and guests who work in healthcare, research, and other front-line fields, at this time we are requesting that everyone who is able be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. By ensuring that everyone who can be vaccinated receives a vaccine, we will not have to require masks for the wedding. For those unable or unwilling to get the vaccine, we ask that you take a COVID-19 test prior to traveling to Colorado; if this test comes back positive, please refrain from attending. Rapid tests can be ordered or picked up for free in most, if not all, states. If you have concerns about this, please reach out to us directly to discuss further.

Question

Who should I reach out to about the wedding if I have questions?

Answer

Both of us! You can contact us with questions, comments, or concerns at any time. Feel free to email, text, or DM us on social media and we will answer your question as best we can!
