You heard correctly-- there will not be cell service up at the camp. Download your directions to the camp before you leave town!
Short answer: Mountain-chic? We will dress in our wedding attire but want our guests to be comfortable and ready to have fun! If you have sequin pants or a crazy hat you've been dying to show off, let's see it! As long as you are prepared for the weather (warm afternoons and chilly evenings), have footwear that can withstand uneven surfaces around camp (heels not recommended), and can dance, we welcome it all!
Clothes: Layers to add (or shed) as the temperature fluctuates throughout the day in the mountains. Toiletries: Please bring all regular toiletries. You will have to bring them all with you to the shared bathrooms If you plan to shower at camp, please bring shower shoes and a towel. Bedding: Camp bunks will have a pad (softer than the ground, but not what you'd get in a Hilton resort). Please bring a sleeping bag and pillow. A sheet or additional blanket to cover the top of the mattress is optional! If you RSVP to stay at the camp and provide your email, we will send more details as the event approaches.
Of course! We would love to celebrate with our friends and family of all ages. Please note there are no buildings with air-conditioning or heating, so dress the kiddos in weather-appropriate attire.
If you are joining us prior to the start of the party festivities at 4:00, we will have a handful of light snacks for grazing in the lodge, but no lunch provided Saturday. Please feel free to bring additional food & beverages as you wish! If you are staying with us the night after the party (we strongly encourage it if you will consume adult beverages), we will have light refreshments (think continental breakfast) available in the lodge throughout Sunday morning.
