We will keep this updated. Right now, the rules in Colorado are that vaccinated individuals may gather in large groups outdoors and indoors without a mask. That said, if you are more comfortable wearing a mask or you have a condition making a mask necessary, please feel free to wear one. We will make masks available at the venue. If you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask, and preferably get a COVID test prior to attending our wedding. We have family members with disorders of the immune system and do not want our happy event to become a superspreader event.
The short answer to this is that we aren’t planning any other formal get togethers for the wedding weekend. That said, we want everyone to have a great weekend in our town (and surrounds), and we will definitely be out and about ourselves. Please let us know if you are looking for things to do or if you want to hang with us! Weather is the thing keeping us from making many solid plans right now, as early October in Colorado can be like summer or like winter, so it’s just hard to say we will be at a certain patio or restaurant as we write this (in July). Ideally, we may try to get a round of golf in, find a patio (or two) at a local brewery, or park ourselves in a booth at the bar at the Elizabeth hotel. We will have more detail about where we will be playing and eating and drinking on Friday and Saturday before the wedding and will keep our website updated.
For the wedding and reception: Dressy casual to semi-formal. There are a lot of cobble stones and grass at the venue so be mindful of that as you put on your high heel shoes. ;) For the after-party: feel free to run home and change or come as you are!
