Tiffy, aka. Bestiekins, has been a sister to Teira ever since they bonded over their secret enjoyment of messy reality TV to escape from the rigor of their doctoral program. Their bond grew even stronger as they began to walk with Jesus together and now the rest is history. They have traveled internationally together, seen and experienced significant spiritual breakthrough, and have become an inseparable item known as Tiffy & Teira to many. Tiffy has been such a gift from God in Teira’s life and their friendship is a true picture of deep and sacrificial covenant friendship.
Daniella Margetic, Esq.
Matron of Honor
Daniella, aka. Dani, has been a staple in Teira’s life since the first day of high school when they had every single class together. They spent the next four years laughing, dancing, crying, and growing. Even after they graduated and their lives branched out, Dani & Teira have remained connected at the core. Now, 22 years later, they are still dancing, laughing, crying, and growing together.
Sara Goico, Ph. D.
Bridesmaid
Sara, aka. Sarita, was the best surprise of graduate school for Teira. She was the random roommate that became a lifelong friend. Sarita and Teira have lived together in 2 cities and in multiple stages of life. Sara is the caring and gentle soul that softens the rougher edges of Teira’s personality. They have journeyed together from graduate school, to teaching, to getting married a week apart! we can’t wait to see what journeys lie in their future.

Brianna, aka. BB, and Teira connected from the first day of their orientation at HH (Phi Beta!) dormitory at Spelman College. They have been on a journey of you, excitement, and sisterhood ever since. BB has a heart that feels like home and whenever she and Teira are together, the love and joy is infectious.

Bridesmaid
Tameah, aka. Maemaelitos, has been a great friend since one day after church where she decided to join Teira and watch Korean dramas. That day, they laughed, watched great TV, and shared stories. Ten years later, they are still doing the same things, whether it’s here in the US, or somewhere in Asia where Tameah is discovering ways to change lives for the better.

Unique has been a daughter to Teira for the past 5 years. She has been a source of joy as she has matured into an ambitious young woman. They have had tons of fun singing at the top of their lungs in cars and journaling their prayers together. Unique has continued to make Teira proud as she journeys through college towards whatever dreams God has for her.

Jason and Matthew have known each other since their high school days at San Fernando Valley Academy. Matthew shares fond memories of mischief in choir class, making comical lyrical adjustments to the musical selections.
Dominique Henry

Dominique is a close longtime friend and basketball teammate of Matthew's, from their days on the blacktop playground of Culver City Adventist school to CIF playoffs in high school and beyond, they have always been able to count on each other late in the fourth quarter.

Jaime and Matthew have been friends since high school at San Fernando Valley Academy. Sharing trips and making fond memories with Matthew, Jaime is a spirited adventurer, a captivating conversationalist, and best dancer of the group, second only to Matthew himself.

Jorge and Matthew have been friends and classmates since the first grade. From playing Gameboy Color with a link cable to serving in each others weddings, they have maintained a close friendship through the years.

Jefte and Matthew have been friends since Matthew's junior year of high school. A trip to Monterrey Bay Academy choir fest would be the impetus of a wonderful friendship filled with many adventures. that would see them eventually become roommates at La Sierra University.

Johans and Matthew have been acquainted since highschool. Despite being praise team mates at San Fernando Valley Academy, their friendship truly developed and flourished after high school when Matthew began to attend San Fernando Spanish Church.
