Best Man
As Ben and I have grown up together, there have been many crazy memories. Such as: when I stole his piggy bank money to start a Pokemon trading card business in 3rd grade, sliced his finger with a utility knife while helping Dad with projects, crashed a car together at the ages of 4 and 1, and starting a small forest fire at the lake with fireworks, maybe more than once. We have also had some pretty cool experiences together. I think my favorite of late was spending a week together in Spain watching the best soccer players in the world (Messi & Ronaldo). I am so thankful for my relationship with Ben and there's not another person I would rather have by my side as my Best Man or brother.

How many people can say they’ve been best friends since four months old? We can! Knowing Lauren this long has given me someone to call a sister. Never in my life have I met someone more caring, fun, and genuine. Lauren is the type of person others gravitate towards... likely due to her infectious laugh, but mostly because of the way she makes people feel. I am beyond grateful for all of our memories from daycare to somehow surviving a long distance best friendship for seven years. I am so looking forward to the memories we will continue to create. My love and admiration for her has only grown over the years. I can’t thank you enough for being my best friend for 25 years, Laur!

Derek is the type of person who I always enjoy hanging out with, no matter the event. We could be tearing off old roof panels at his family farm, be fishing all day, even though he's usually the only one who ever catches fish, or just simply hanging out over a brew, we always have a good time. I am thankful to have a friend that is always willing to spend time with you and be completely satisfied with just having "bro" time. Derek is a genuine guy and I hope that everyone is able to experience and have a friendship with someone like him. I am glad that you have been able to be part of KT and I's adventure thus far. Thanks for being you, Derk.

Michelle, or as I like to call her, MC, is loyal, supportive, sweet, and an overall genuine human. I love how we can be our weird selves, whether it’s giving each other ridiculous nicknames, talking in questionable accents, and embracing our identity as home bodies! Oh, and we may or may not have spent many hours crying while watching YouTube videos. Being able to pick up right where we left off every time we see each other speaks volumes about our relationship. It has been so fun being on this wedding journey with her as she tied the knot in June! Thank you for your unconditional love and friendship, Chelle!

Savvy, where do I begin? Sam and I have been friends so long that we frequently say the same things at the same exact time and even get called each other's names by our friends. I appreciate my friendship with Sam a lot and often look back on the years of memories we have had together. Some of my favorite memories happened during college on Sundays when we, the "Basement Bros", lived together. A typical Sunday involved each of us having a text book open to the same page for 12+ hours while watching football and worrying about our fantasy football teams more than our engineering degrees. Thanks for being one of my best friends for nearly my entire life, Sam.

If you're ever in need of a laugh, hang out with Kylee and it’s only a matter of time until that happens! She is someone who is always down for anything and brings so much fun to whatever she is doing. Her passion and drive have always been inspiring to me. What I love about my friendship with Kylee is that we have the same humor and always end up laughing to tears while reminiscing or creating new memories. Much of our time together has been spent ghost hunting, having HORRIBLE ideas for Halloween costumes, charging endless snacks to her dad's account at the gas station, and driving around Mobridge for hours listening to Eminem. Thanks for being you, Ky!

Everyone in this world should have a friendship like the one Nolan and I have; always laughing, having fun while doing anything and sometimes absolutely nothing, and legendary story-telling. Every time there is a new adventure to be had, Nolan is the first to say yes, a quality I admire. Nolan is also a person who is always real and can make anyone smile . Overall, I am very grateful to have him as a bro and one of my best friends. Can't wait for the memories that will be made with him as my groomsman.

You know when you meet someone and it feels like you’ve known them forever? Well this was Chelsea and I, aside from the first twenty minutes when I was scared of her and her loud personality! Chelsea is someone that is unapologetically herself. Her authenticity and ability to make anyone feel comfortable is the reason I believe we clicked. I'm so thankful for our wine nights, sitting doing literally nothing, and running errands for 4 straight hours only to realize we should probably pause to grab a cocktail. Thank you for allowing me to be my 100% true self, Chels!

As Katie's brother, it's been fun getting to bond with Joey over our hobby of making fun of Katie. Our tendency to crack jokes and our love for craft beer always makes for a good time when we're together. Joey's sarcasm and all around genuineness is what makes him such a good guy. I am looking forward to more vacations and laughs now that we're both stuck with Katie for the long haul, ha! Glad you are apart of our day, Joe.

Have you ever looked up to someone even though they are younger than you? Olivia’s poise, determination, and soul that is wise beyond her years have provided me with an example of how to live a life that is meaningful and true. My heart is so full as I think back to all of our times as the oldest cousins on the Heil side making dance routines at Grandpa and Grandma's to the song Stacy's Mom, and watching the movie House Bunny while enjoying ice cream shakes that may or may not taste like soap. Don't ask! I am so thankful to have you standing by my side at my wedding, Liv!

Chris is the type of guy that will do anything for you. He is someone I can always count on and I am thankful he's my friend. I'm glad we have gotten to spend more time together as he has become part of the Bison tailgate family, even if it does involve some brutally early mornings. We have some pretty crazy memories together and I am sure the next time we are together we will pick up right where we left off. Thanks for being such a good guy, Chans, I am stoked you'll be standing next to me.

Sydney is one of those people you meet and you think, "How did I survive before I met you?" We have said before that we share brainwaves, and that truly couldn't be more true. Having Sydney as a cheerleader in my corner has kept me sane and I have been so blessed by her friendship. Her genuineness makes me realize how lucky I am to have found someone like her in my lifetime. We have so many memories to even count and I can't wait to create more having her as my bridesmaid. Oh, and thanks for loving Fireball as much as me, Syd!
Usher
Taylor is someone who is always down for anything, and an easy, genuine guy to talk with. I have always identified with Taylor's quality of being driven, and I always enjoy having a good listener to talk with about our future life goals. Thanks for being down to earth and always a good time, likely with an Old Fashion in hand. I'm excited to have you be a part of our wedding party, Taylor.

Hannah. Where do I even begin? I knew she was a gem when I realized how great of a friend she has been to Matt, and how quickly she welcomed me into the group. When I am with Hannah, the laughs are endless and we are having so much fun, whether it is tailgating, spending the weekend at the lake, predicting what will happen in Game of Thrones, or just spending a night out. It is also likely we are getting eye rolls from Matt and Taylor for our (not at all annoying) accents. I can't thank Hannah enough for talking me down many times during wedding planning. Thanks for being such an incredible person, Han!
Usher
I would expect nothing less if Joe is the guy taking his Usher role as serious as a Secret Service agent by day, and being the talk of the dance by night. He is a genuine guy who loves spending time with family and having fun. He brings a good mood and a contagious energy to wherever he is. The best memories I have with Joe involve road tripping to Frisco, TX to watch NDSU play football. The amount of laughter that is involved in these trips is enough for a lifetime and I cannot express how good of a time we have. Katie and I could not have imagined our day without involving Joe in some way. We are thankful he is part of our lives. Love you, Bunger.

Lexy and I started off as roommates that didn't know each other much at all, and quickly became friends after sharing our similar humor, making dumb jokes, and obsessing over our love for coffee and DOGS! Oh, and can't forget going to Coldstone for ice cream only to realize my hair looked like Dwight Schrute that day! Even though we live a thousand miles away from each other, our Snapchat streaks and GIF text convos are still alive and well. One day we will do that trip to Nashville! Forever wishing Montana wasn't so far away. Visit soon, Lex!

Having Taylor in my life has been like having a baby sister. We have shared many laughs, danced in the kitchen, and even had a few arguments over food and dropping a microphone on my face. Sound like sisters? Watching Taylor grow into the compassionate, strong, funny, and talented woman she has become has been such a blessing. The world truly is a better place with you in it, and I am so lucky to be a part of your journey. Thank you for sharing your talent with us at our wedding, Tay!
