BLACK. ALL BLACK. PLEASE. Dressy casual is recommended, but at the end of the day, as long as you are wearing all black, that's all that matters. If you remember anything from this website, please let it be that you need to wear all black to the welcome party.
Everyone hates "Black Tie Optional," so let's break it down to make it less scary! If you want to wear a tux, do it! If you'd rather not, please wear your nicest suit and a tie. Alternatively, please wear a floor-length dress/your nicest dress. To match the vibe of the venue, pretend like you're going to an art gala. Think fun textures, drama, Met Gala, colors, the world is your oyster! You can also add accessories like fun jewelry, brooches, gloves, colorful pocket squares, you name it! The bride and groom cannot wait to be blown away by your ensembles!
Yes! In fact, we hope you will! We have the 19th Century Art Gallery reserved for us, along with another exhibit. Please feel free to explore these galleries during cocktail hour! The 19th Century Art Gallery is Mattie’s favorite in the whole museum. There’s a few Monets in there we hope you’ll enjoy!
We have recommended hotels, and the wedding party will be staying at the Populus Hotel. However, we recognize that brand loyalty is important to some. We wanted to allow the opportunity for people to stay at their preferred hotels without feeling pressure to stay at a certain place. There are LOTS of wonderful hotels and rentals near the Denver Art Museum.
The couple requests this be an adults-only event. Take the night off and leave the little ones at home! Thank you for your understanding!
For the Welcome Party, there is very little on-site parking. Please plan on street parking, Ubers/Lyfts, or carpooling. For the Wedding, there is a paid parking garage next to the Denver Art Museum. Its address is 65 W 12th Ave, Denver, CO 80204. Please be mindful that they do not allow overnight parking in this garage. If you plan on partaking in some drinks this weekend, please use Uber or Lyft! There are plenty of them around the city and are easy and inexpensive to get.
Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions! For all our gluten free friends (including the Bride), the majority of the menu at the wedding will be gluten free.
Because the wedding is so centrally located to many hotels and there is not a designated hotel for guests to stay at, there won't be any organized transportation to/from the wedding venue. Ubers and Lyfts are very accessible in Denver! Additionally, the hotels listed on the "Travel" tab are all within walking distance to the venue and a short drive to the welcome party.
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
