Shuttle Service to Venue

All guests needing a shuttle will meet at the valet area of the Hilton Norfolk The Main. Those staying at the Marriott, please proceed down E Main Street and meet at the Hilton - the walk is only 2 minutes away. Shuttle Start Time: 5:45 PM Last Shuttle Departs: Around 6:05 PM Note: Three Ford Transit vans will run continuously from the Hilton to the venue. Please plan to board an early shuttle to avoid delays and ensure you arrive on time. 🎶 Bonus: Professional portraits and live music will greet you upon arrival!
Wedding Ceremony and Reception
6:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Black Tie Preferred: Men are encouraged to wear a dark tuxedo, white dress shirt, with a tie and dress shoes. If a tuxedo isn’t available, a dark suit with tie and dress shoes is acceptable. Women are welcome to wear a full-length gown, an elegant floor-length cocktail dress, or a pantsuit. Heels or formal flats and refined accessories are encouraged.
We’re honored to celebrate our marriage at the Chrysler Museum of Art, a cultural gem in the heart of Norfolk. Surrounded by timeless architecture and world-class art, we’ll exchange vows and celebrate with an evening of dining and dancing. Doors will open at 6:00 PM, with the ceremony starting promptly at 6:30 PM. We kindly request that all guests be seated by 6:20 PM. After the ceremony, guests will head to the museum galleries for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Followed by the reception including dinner, dessert and dancing into the evening. Professional Photography and Live Music
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
As a special gift to our guests, professional portraits will be offered prior to the ceremony. We invite you to enjoy the live music upon arrival and take your moment on the “red carpet.” To help create clean, timeless images, we kindly ask that no food or drinks be held during portraits. Feel free to place bags and personal items on a nearby cocktail table or tuck them discreetly out of frame. We look forward to sharing the final portraits with you after the celebration!
Shuttle Service to Hotel
10:30 pm - 11:45 pm

All guests needing a shuttle home will meet at the front entrance of Chrysler Museum of Art. Similar to how you arrived to the venue, three Ford Transit vans will run continuously between the venue and the hotel. Shuttles will continue making trips until all guests are back at the hotel. If you are a guest at the Marriott, please take the two minute walk along E Main Street back to your hotel. Wedding Ends at 11:30 PM Early Evening Shuttle Starts at 10:30 PM 🛳️ Reminder: Set those alarms for the Farewell Sail the next morning!

Warm layers!!! As of today 10/9 @ 8:30AM, we are still planning to have this event – please prepare any jackets for rain and layers as necessary. We have 75 ponchos for guests, however, if you have other rain/wind clothes or ponchos, please bring to make yourself more comfortable. 🌬️☔️⛵️
