Civil War historical site. The park was created by Congress in 1956 to preserve the battlefield of the 1862 Battle of Pea Ridge. Heading west outside of Eureka Springs, it is between Eureka Springs and the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.

Amazing contemporary architecture. Museum of American Art. Outdoor sculptures. Permanent collection includes Norman Rockwell, Mark Rothko, buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, and others. Plan at least a half-day for this. Well worth it, if possible. In Bentonville, near the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
