1/3 of the reason that Sarah always speaks in the plural. The eldest of the triplets, Rachel was quick to claim responsibility for the wellbeing of her 'younger' siblings. Sarah is forever grateful for her steady guidance, unwavering friendship and heart.

Alec Norton

The second of three, sandwiched between two girls, Alec played the part. Sarah was usually the victim of his tickle attacks, but she was also the recipient of his wise words, his unconditional support and his encouragement to follow passions and to overcome challenges. Sarah knows that she is the lucky one to have Alec (and Rachel) at her side.

Daniel Glover

Sarah's older (and wiser) cousin. Daniel is our boat captain, our cheerleader and - in effect- our older brother.

Ashley Shuyler Carter

From the halls of Colorado Academy to classrooms in Tanzania, and from trails and open roads in Colorado to rice fields in China and mountain traverses in the Himalayas, Ashley has remained one of Sarah's best friends and adventure partners. Sarah cherishes their ever evolving dialogue on the state of the world, how one actualizes a positive impact in both the local and global community and their lasting friendship.

Matt's big sister, confidant and one of his best friends. Sarah values everything that Becky can teach her about Matt and is delighted to have another sister at her side.

Ron Mitchell

There is just not enough to say about this phenom of men. Ron comes form a long line of medical professionals and military service. He met Matt in New Orleans during their mutual "row" in NOLa where they held fellowship in the most unlikely of places. He is a lieutenant of the Navy and was stationed with his family in Jacksonville, North Carolina while Matt was in Fellowship training at Duke. During that time they solidified themselves as family friends for all eternity (their daughter Elizabeth Rose is unabashedly adorable). He and his wife are extraordinary connoisseurs of fine food and wine. Ron is currently stationed in Naples, Italy as an Orthopod. They recently had their second child. Yes, Ron, we are all extremely jealous.

Topher Goodenough

Line up. This general surgery, plastic surgery, hand surgery-trained individual is quite more than "Good Enough" (pronounced the way it is spelled). He is a running, skiing, outdoor enthusiast and a scholar of most things cultural/artistic. He met Matt during medical school, complemented by countless hours of spiritual/manly fellowship and time at the gym. He and his wife have a lovely daughter, Gwen, and the family is currently deciding where he will be hanging his shingle. You just might be that lucky if he chooses to set up shop in your neighborhood. Current plans are that Gwen will be part of the Park City Ski Team track for the Olympics (Lindsay Vaughn approves).

Tom Weingard

Matt's brother may be one of the most entertaining humans you ever encounter. He.is.quite.literally.a.Mad.Man. For those of you who are not familiar with the series, he is an Ad Man working on Madison Avenue. As Matt's long standing hero and idol growing up, Tom is also one of the most gentle, thoughtful, and kindhearted people you will ever meet. He is an enthusiast of most Philly sports and an adoring father of his two children (Gabriella and Gideon) who are bustling with intelligence, talent, and energy. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

David Masceri

Groomsman

Matt's longest-standing friend (27 years to date!). Dave and Matt have been through thick and thin. Their friendship has survived a number of Matt's personas that we will forgo mentioning and several of Dave's (it is worth noting that some of us think that Dave stunt-doubled for Tom Cruise in Top Gun and Shawn Aston in the Goonies). This gentlemen is well rounded with a degree in photography and a taste for adventure; he spent months sailing around the Mediterranean. His prowess and humility are both notable. His overall energy, love of life, and dance moves are infectious as he is quite literally the quintessential "yes" man. Dave is a Civil Engineering PhD who currently lives in Austin with his beloved fiancé and dog. They are in the midst of designing their own home.

Nissan Shah

Another long-standing friend of Matts, Nissan's reputation precedes him. Nissan (as he will say is pronounced "like the car") grew up in the London area and connected with Matt early in high school when he moved with his mother to the US. He is one of the kindest and most loyal people you will meet and he is known to have coined the term "like family." A truer sense could not be held. Nissan lives in Newtown, PA outside Philadelphia where he works as a corporate lawyer with Blackstone. In his spare time, he and his beautiful wife are raising two adorable and rambunctious girls. He is ferocious Philly sports fan and he and his family are incredibly well traveled. He and many others know that Matt has an unabashed crush on his mom and her cooking prowess. Hi Mrs. Shah!

Joe Dunaway

As a matter of circumstance, Matt and Joe met at a friend's (Will Brian's) house in NOLa for a "scotch night" on the front porch where he adeptly smoked a pipe that had Matt mesmerized. Since then, Matt and Joe have been thick as thieves, sharing fellowship. playing golf, running, and getting into trouble (not too much trouble!). They have been a source of support for one another through good times and bad over the years (often talking multiple times per week). Joe is a loving husband and the proud father of 3 girls (aka superhero). He is originally from Georgia and currently lives in New Orleans. He also has the magical power of turning into a yeti overnight.
