A long time ago (circa Sept 2017) on an island not too far away Sarah was celebrating the end of summer with some close friends in Ocean City. As all of the best OCMD nights end, they went to Seacrets Jamaica USA for some live music and sand filled dancing. Matt ended up on the same dance floor after a long day of music at the legendary Ocean City Bike Week festival. Once their paths crossed neither of their lives would be the same. A month later they went on their first date at Heros' pub in Annapolis. They continued their relationship mid-distance, travelling between Sarah's place in Annapolis and Matt's hometown of California, MD. They continued to share their love of live music, good food, and travel. They went on trips to Nashville, Las Vegas, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and more! In 2020 the pesky pandemic offered Matt more flexibility to work from home, and they began cohabitating. After 6 months trapped in an apartment together, they bought a beautiful home just outside of downtown Annapolis. In July 2022, they adopted their beloved pooch Sir Theodore.
