The Niagara Gorge Trail System is made of a series of smaller trail sections that parallel the Niagara River gorge. Devils hole is a popular trail that bring you down to the mighty Niagara River to see rapids Devil's Hole up-close. This moderate hike is 2.5 miles round trip.

With fall approaching, Buffalo Waterfront Management Group has announced the return of the outdoor roller rink at Canalside!
Since the early 60’s, the steel sculptures of Larry Griffis, Jr. and other international artists have been residing in the woods, fields, and even ponds of Griffis Sculpture Park. The 450 acre Ashford Hollow park, in the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York State, is not only a tremendous regional attraction, but holds the distinction of being one of America’s largest and oldest sculpture parks.
Letchworth State Park is known as the “Grand Canyon of the East.” This 14,350-acre scenic park features year-round recreation and scenic beauty including three large waterfalls between cliffs, as high as 600 feet in some places, each carved by the Genesee River and surrounded by lush forests. There are 66 miles of hiking trails within the park but you can easily bike or drive to each scenic spot of interest as well.
Spice things up and take an international adventure to visit our neighbors to the north! Niagara-on-the-Lake is just a short drive further from Lewiston and it’s well worth the extra effort. Cross over the Rainbow Bridge (don’t forget those passports) and drive along the Niagara River. Check out the two Fort George National Historical Sites (one is a Battlefield from the War of 1812), walk along Mississauga Beach. Take a mini-wine tour or at the very least go to one of the areas many wineries and drink some wine. Mmm wine.
