It was a frigid november night in Chicago when the two came together at 820 N Orleans for the first time. They were both attending a jiu jitsu class and couldn't keep their eyes unglued from the other. When the time came to spar, Natalie to Matthews delight, invited him to train with her. His delight was short lived as he soon became the a victim of Natalie's stack passing. His breath was truly taken away, as she pressed his legs over his head bending his torso in half and stapled his feet to the ground. While unable to move he thought how he had hit the jackpot. Over the next months and eventual years they would become inseparable. They trained together, explored the city together, and even started working together. They would travel the country competing in jiu jitsu tournaments, hiking, camping, and enjoying their best lives. Matthew proposed to Natalie while on an impromptu trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. This would be the first time Natalie would lay eyes on the exquisite beauty of the Rocky Mountains. This feeling of awe and being wowed by nature's grandeur is what led to their selection of Colorado and the Arkansas Valley as their place of Marriage. They hope their guests can be treated to the same feelings of majesty and inspiration that they draw from the surrounding peaks.
