UK to TAMPA
Flights are now available from London to Tampa via British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Matt and Meg will be on the island from 16th May 2026, so let us know when you are arriving. Make sure to complete your ESTA VISA for entry to the USA. Tampa is 1 Hour from Anna Maria Island (wedding destination). Orlando is 2 Hours from the island. You could fly into either airport, just expect a longer journey from Orlando. If arriving late onto the island, we would recommend grabbing dinner at Hurricane Hanks or The Ugly Grouper.
House Or Rental
House or Hotel
We are located on the Anna Maria City side of Anna Maria Island. When you arrive onto the island, you turn right and that is the direction of our Wedding Venue. We would recommend looking for accommodation in Anna Maria City side (North of the island). The other side (Holmes Beach) is also beautiful, but it is further South so might be more difficult for transportation at late hours. In terms of places to book, we would recommend reviewing the below. These are good options for Villas / Condo's: (North Side, Anna Maria Island City) - SATO (Villa and Condo Rentals) - Air BNB (Private Rentals) - Vrbo (Private Rentals) For Hotels: - Booking.com (Bali Hai is a nice resort on the island). The above are recommendations, however, you could also look at neighbouring cities Sarasota / Bradenton. If you are looking to stay further out, we would recommend pre-booking transport to and from the wedding via Uber.

Travelling Around
Car Hire: We would recommend hiring a car to drive from the airport to the island. The drive is just over 1 Hour and the SunPass Toll is less than $2. Remember to drive on the right. Taxi's: You can also catch an Uber from the airport to Anna Maria Island and use local transport to get around (bikes/trolley bus/golf carts). There are also local taxi companies. Golf Carts & Bikes: You can use bikes / golf carts for travel on the island. Golf carts and bikes can be booked from: Beach Bums, Fun&More Rentals, Just4Fun, AMI Golf Cart Rentals or Crabby Joes Cart Rentals.
