Natalie Turner

Maid of Honor

Natalie is Maureen's younger sister, and luckily they have made it through life without killing one another. Growing up together, their relationship grew into a friendship, especially during their time together at Creighton University. Maureen is looking forward to years of discounted dental care in the future.

Andrew McCurdy

Best Man

Matt and Andrew met at Creighton University and have been friends since they join the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity together. Since junior year Matt and Andrew have lived together as roommates in several different houses. Whenever Matt and Maureen come into town, Andrew's house is usually the first stop.

Danielle Short

Danielle and Maureen met at Creighton University as sophomores and have been inseparable since. Unfortunately for Matt, he is usually considered the third wheel in their relationship, as he has a hard time keeping up with all of their shenanigans. In 2014, after graduation, Danielle and Maureen traveled to Europe and are hoping to again soon!

Taylor Mighell

Taylor and Matt also meet through Phi Kappa Psi and lived together throughout college. Taylor and Matt have gone on several backpacking trips all over the country and at least do one trip every summer. One of their favorite trips together was trekking through Glacier National Park though beautiful forests and glacier lakes. They cannot wait to plan their next adventure together.

KP and Maureen met at Creighton University through their sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. Don't let their outward differences fool you, they have the same love for good food and adventure. Whenever possible, KP and Maureen love to open some wine and just have girl time. Every year KP hosts a fondue night with amazing cheese and KP and Maureen may be the only two that cannot stop eating it.

Ryan Waldron

Matt and Ryan have been friends since their freshman year of highschool at Creighton Prep. At lunch Matt, Ryan and the boys would play ultimate frisbee every lunch period. They would get into endless chananagins and get called out by the administration for being too rowdy. To this day Matt and Ryan have remained close friends doing spur of the moment trips all over the country.

Jackie Kapla

Jackie and Maureen first met in kindergarten but didn't get to know each other until 5th grade girls basketball - Blue Lightening. Never having been in the same class, describing how they became friends to people is always a mouthfull. Their families love going on trips from South Carolina to Colorado and many failed attempts inbetween. The two enjoy eating theirs mom's AMAZING food!

Mark Turner

Mark is technically Maureen's "little" brother but standing taller than Matt it sometimes does not feel that way. Matt and Mark have found their love in working with wood and can talk for hours about it. Matt is excited to be able to call Mark his "little" brother as well.

Erin Wright

Erin and Maureen meet during their occupational therapy program at Creighton University and then continued their "adventure" to Topeka, Kansas for a clinical rotation. School may have brought them together but their great sense of humors and love for good beer keeps them together.

Brian Wanser

Brian and Matt met running cross country for Creighton Prep freshman year. Ever since then, Matt and Brian have found common ground in their strange sense of humor and love for running. Matt and Brian would constantly get yelled at by Mr. Helton in English Class for being loud and laughing constantly. This trend of constant humor has not dwindled.

Claire Smaagard

Claire and Maureen are cousins and they have always enjoyed spending time together. Having mom's that both claim to be the "favorite aunt" and scream during Yahtzee tournaments, makes family events very entertaining. Having grown up with a mutual love of food, Claire and Maureen are always ready for a meal.

Ben Kirby

Ben and Matt met at Creighton Prep freshman year. These two have gone on several fishing and camping trips together that always end in having a few too many beers and not catching enough fish. Ben and Matt enjoy going to the gun range and blowing of some steam by shooting a few rounds. They have competitions to who can shoot the best and it always turns out differently.
