For transportation from the airport to your accommodations, you have the following options: Taxi: Widely available after the baggage claim, they will be hounding you to see if you need a ride and they do take credit cards. Uber: Once you exit the airport, you will see a parking garage directly in front of you. Walk around the parking garage (3 mins) to the other side of the building and you can call an Uber from that road where they are designated for pick up. Hotel Shuttle: If you're staying at a hotel you can contact the reception and have them coordinate a pick up for you.
Let us know if you'd like us to have a bus pick you up and take you to the restaurant (and home after dinner ends). You are also welcome to Uber or drive if you prefer the flexibility. The restaurant can be found in Google Maps or Waze.
Transportation is arranged for all guests from their accommodations to the church. The buses will be making multiple stops and arriving at the church at 1:40pm and thus pick-up times will be sensitive. I will confirm pick-up times later this week. If you choose to go to the venue on your own (drive or Uber) please let me know.
Transportation will occur as soon as the ceremony ends and will be provided for all guests.
Buses will take guests home at the conclusion of the reception at midnight. If you choose to leave earlier, your best option will be to call an Uber. They will be able to pick you up from the venue and return you to your destination.
Credit cards are widely accepted everywhere in Costa Rica, so you do not need to worry about exchanging any cash. AMEX is the only card that isn't accepted by all, but Visa is accepted everywhere. Most tourist areas, restaurants, and airport services will speak English. Ubers are available in all the areas people are staying, plus the church and venue area. For flights home, the airport is usually very quick and doesn't require extra arrival time before your flight.
