Megan has been Maria’s best friend since High School. She’s a fashionista, dance party queen, and mommy to Madison and pups, Cali and Kloe. Though they haven't lived in the same state in quite some time, they remain close and chat almost daily using virtually every form of social media. Maria and Megan are frequently confused for sisters (probably because of their 100% natural blonde hair), which is lucky because Maria considers Megan a true sister.
Brian McDonough
Best Man
Brian (right) is Matt’s younger, more mature, brother. Brian owned a dog first, married first, bought a house first, owns his own business, and has been putting up with Matt for decades. In recent years, Matt and Maria have enjoyed hitting the New England concert circuit with Brian and his wife, Jess (Maria’s newest blonde sister).
Gabe Balzano-Brookes
Groomsman
Gabe is one of Matt's oldest friends and they've shared many formative experiences over the years. Growing up in Maine, they spent hours on the basketball court (don't ask Gabe about his 1-on-1 record). Both went to law school at the same time and shared an apartment during their 1L year. After taking the bar exam, they went on an epic cross-country-and-back road trip with their friend Jack (do ask Gabe about the sleeping arrangements). Today, Gabe and Matt can be found lawyering down the street from each other in Boston.
Susan Yang
Bridesmaid
Maria met Susan at Cornell where they had the same major, but their relationship really blossomed when Susan moved to Boston to be close to Maria (and Austin as a result). They have since spent numerous weekends together frolicking around Boston, taking yoga classes, trying out Boston restaurants (mainly Barcelona repeatedly), and keeping Oyster Bay a best seller in the Boston area.
