What does Formal Attire mean?

Answer

Men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or tuxedo if you prefer. Women can wear anything from long evening dresses, dressy jumpsuits or suits (channel your inner HRC!), to dressy cocktail dresses. For those of you concerned about the potential summer heat, weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors, but the rest of the evening will be spent indoors and the venue is fully air conditioned.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a variety of room block options for Saturday night to accommodate our guests and their preferences. The Inn at Tupper Manor is steps from the reception venue and is perfect for those looking for convenience and an earlier night. If you’re planning on attending the after party, somewhere around Salem or even Boston (short uber ride) are good options. There are a variety of hotels in Salem, including the Salem Hotel and Hawthorne Inn, and a lot of options available on air b&b and vrbo. For those of you looking to build up those Marriott points we have a room block available at the Courtyard by Marriott Boston in Danvers, which is about a 12 minute drive from Tupper Manor.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Though we love all of our nieces, nephews, and friends’ little ones, we’ve decided to keep the event to adults only. Hopefully this will be a good occasion for Mom and Dad to get away and have a night to themselves!
