Athens Airport
Kalamata is about a 2.5 hour drive from Athens airport. There is a local airport in Kalamata, but the flights are not frequent and can be very expensive. We recommend flying to Athens and either renting a car (very cheap in Greece), taking a taxi (120 EUR), or waiting for the shuttle bus which we will organize, timing dependent on the flight info that our guests provide for us. There will be another shuttle back to the airport on May 26 as well, probably in the morning to accommodate as many flights as possible.

Toll Information
There are tolls from Athens to Kalamata - it is an easy to drive on the same highway almost the entire way. Everything is “tap-to-pay” if you don’t have coins or cash. Grand total it is a little less than $20 for the entire route.

This is one of the larger hotels, closest to the Welcome Party of the options listed here. Also walking distance to the Wedding Venue. Middle/upper range of prices in Kalamata.

Gorgeous luxury hotel right next to Pharae Hotel where the Wedding Party is staying. Very limited number of rooms and a very upscale dining experience. On the top end of the price range in Kalamata.
