Here's a few of our favorite places to eat and drink, along with some Tallahassee highlights!
Metro Deli
104 1/2 S Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL
The best quick and easy lunch in town. Classic deli fare within walking distance of downtown hotels.
Lucky Goat Coffee
1307 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL
Our favorite local coffee shop, which also serves up great breakfast pastries. If it's lunchtime, stop by Hawthorn a few doors down!
Midtown Caboose
1406 N Meridian Rd, Tallahassee, FL
Burgers and sandwiches with unique twists. Absolute must-eat for us, but make sure you bring your adventurous side.
Cascades Park/The Edison
1001 South Gadsden Street, Tallahassee, FL
Enjoy the day outside without leaving downtown! While you're here, stop by The Edison for classic food with hipster vibes.
Savour
115 East Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL
Our go-to fancy dinner spot, and the site of many of our birthday and anniversary celebrations.
Madison Social
705 S Woodward Ave, Ste 101, Tallahassee, FL
Our main hangout from the FSU days. Also a great starting point for a Collegetown crawl if you follow up with Bowden's or Township.
Liberty Bar & Restaurant
1307 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL
Midtown's finest. If you're bar-hopping, also check out Table 23, The Brass Tap, and Finnegan's Wake within walking distance.
Bar 1903
209 E Park Ave, Tallahassee, FL
The coolest bar in town, and the first place we went to celebrate our engagement. Try the charcuterie and seasonal cocktails.
Only seats 35 at a time and doesn't take reservations. Have a backup plan!
Florida Historic Capitol Museum
400 S Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL
Formerly Florida's capitol building, now a very pretty museum. There's no parking on-site, so plan to walk from another location or use downtown street parking.
Maclay Gardens
3450 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL
Our recommended spot for walking trails, light hikes, picnics, or other outdoor activities. Always be sure to pack hydration and umbrellas in the summer!
