DO U.S. CITIZENS NEED A VISA TO ENTER BRAZIL?

Answer

Yes. U.S. passport holders are required to obtain a visa to travel to Brazil. Travelers must apply for an eVisa online through the official Brazilian government system before departure, and we recommend submitting the application at least 2 months prior to traveling to allow sufficient processing time. WHAT SAFETY TIPS SHOULD I KNOW FOR RIO?

Rio is an incredible and vibrant city, and we want all guests to enjoy it comfortably and confidently. A few simple precautions can help keep belongings secure and make traveling around the city smooth and stress free. Recommended Safety Practices: • Do not wear or display valuable jewelry, watches, or designer accessories • Only carry essentials when out, such as a passport copy, one credit card, your phone, and limited cash • Do not take out your phone or camera on the street unless needed • Use trusted transportation services like Uber or hotel arranged transfers • Avoid walking long distances at night These tips are not meant to worry anyone, only to ensure everyone experiences Rio safely and fully. When in doubt, feel free to ask us or the hotel for guidance.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED? / HAVERÁ TRANSPORTE DISPONÍVEL?

Shuttle service will be provided only for wedding related events. More details and schedules will be shared as we get closer to the date. Transportation between the airport and the hotel will not be provided, so we kindly encourage guests to arrange their transfers in advance. The Square Design Hotel offers shuttle service that can be booked directly with the hotel prior to arrival. Haverá Serviço de Transporte somente para os eventos do casamento. Mais informações e horários serão divulgados conforme nos aproximamos da data. O transporte entre o aeroporto e o hotel não será oferecido, por isso recomendamos que cada convidado organize o traslado com antecedência.
