Norfolk Airport

The closest major airport is Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Virginia. From there, it’s about a 1.5–2 hour drive to Kill Devil Hills, depending on traffic. The route is straightforward and starts to feel coastal as you get closer to the water.

Car Recommended

Having access to a car whether you’re renting one or driving in is the easiest and most flexible way to get around during the week. There’s plenty of parking at the house, which makes coming and going simple throughout your stay. We encourage guests to travel together and carpool when possible. For anyone without a car, we’ll organize daily airport runs to and from Norfolk on Monday–Wednesday and Saturday–Sunday. We’ll share more details as the week gets closer.

House Or Rental

Outer Banks Beach House

We’ve rented a beautiful waterfront home in the Outer Banks and would love for you to stay with us. The house has 27 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, so everyone has space to settle in comfortably. Each guest will be assigned a room, and we’ll share a final floor plan once all RSVPs are in. You’re welcome to join us for the full week from Monday, November 9 through Sunday, November 15. If staying the whole week isn’t possible, no worries at all. You’re welcome to arrive anytime before the ceremony and reception on Friday, November 13. To reserve your room, please be sure to complete the RSVP form. The cost is $500 ($350 if you come after Wednesday) per person, which includes your room and meals for the week and helps cover shared costs.
