What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi formal - think polished but comfortable! Dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or a jacket are all perfect. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, we’re only able to include the children in the wedding party in our celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone! However, our guest list is limited to those named on the invitation. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear there. Thank you for understanding!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 1st, as we need to let the venue and vendors know the final head count.

What time should I arrive at Pretty Place Chapel?

Answer

The ceremony (held at Pretty Place Chapel) is about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from the hotel/reception location (The Westin Poinsett). We recommend leaving the Westin Poinsett by 2:15, giving yourself ample time to arrive at the chapel by 3:30. Please be aware of the time it may take to get your car from parking or valet.

Is there a room block?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block reserved at the Westin Poinsett, where the reception will be held. When booking a room, please tell them you are with the Ritchie-Utecht wedding and would like to book a room in the block for Friday and Saturday night. You can use the link in the “Travel” section.
