The Brazilian government postponed the requirement for U.S citizens to have a Brazilian Visa, this means that you are not required to have a visa to travel.
We recommend taking two weeks off work, so that way you all have plenty of time to enjoy your international travel and the wedding. In case you would like to visit other states in Brazil, we recommend taking more than two weeks off. We understand that not everyone will be able to take a full two weeks off, so we recommend asking for at least one week off. You will use two days just for traveling to Brazil and back as the flights normally average around 10 hours of duration on a direct flight.
According to some research, the best time to book an international flight is around 6-3 months in advance. The best way to get a good deal on flights is to set google alerts that track the price change and send the information to your email. Most major airlines have flights to São Paulo, so you can probably book with any of them. We are flying with American Airlines.
The reception will be at Bela's parents' house at Rua Gennaro Teofilo, 639 Maylasky - Sao Roque, SP Brazi 18143-000
We would like everyone to follow the semi-formal attire. Just keep in mind that will be spring in November in Brazil with temperatures ranging from high 60 to low 80. Also, the reception location is mostly outdoors.
