There were a few months when we watched Heidi's family dog Waffle and took it as an opportunity to do more hiking. This is Starved Rock State Park 10.26.24

Started getting into running and this was our first race: Hot Chocolate Run 11.03.24

Somehow did a half-marathon together. It was straight to bed after this 05.18.25

I had a feeling the proposal was coming since family was visiting from out of town, but this day was so much fun and I felt so loved / cared for

Had an engagement party later that evening at the Loews Hotel

So many people came to support us! Even hometown friends and family from far away <3

I always thought it would be overwhelming to be in a room of people from different life stages, but it was actually the best night ever
