Question

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be held outdoors with an indoor reception at the same venue. We ask that you adhere to the formal black tie dress code, but also dress according to the weather. We are expecting typical fall weather during that time, although this very well may change.

Where should we park?

Answer

Upon arrival at the venue, we ask that you park in the guest designated parking lot that is just north of the barn. This parking lot is fully lit and does have a pathway up to the venue. Please do not park in the main driveway of the barn as this area is designated only for our vendors and you will be asked to move your vehicle.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to use this evening as a date night! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message Hannah.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size of our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests that are formally invited on your save the date invitation. If your significant other is invited to our celebration, it will be designated on your invitation. We ask that you please respect our wishes as we are keeping our celebration to only the guests invited!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

This will be a black tie event. We ask that you dress for the occasion and refrain from wearing jeans, denim, or causal wear. Our groomsmen will be wearing full black suits, and the bridesmaids will have dark green dresses. To honor the occasion, do NOT wear any white, we would like all guests to operate under the thought that if you need to ask if it's too much white, it probably is. We ask that you dress in all formal attire, this may mean suits or dress pants and a dress shirt for men, and nice dresses, formal jumpsuits or blouses with dress pants for women. Please also dress accordingly for the weather. If you have any questions on outfits at all please do not hesitate to reach out to Hannah or use the provided email at the bottom of the page.

Food and drinks

Answer

There will absolutely be food and beverages, the food will be barbecue and is buffet style and you do NOT need to fill out any menu options. There will also be dessert provided afterwards. If you have any dietary restrictions please message us as soon as possible through the provided email at the bottom of this page! There will also be NO peanut related products at our wedding due to family allergies. Please note that this will be an entirely alcohol- free wedding. We will not be providing alcohol and we ask that you do NOT bring any alcohol or drinks containing liquor of any kind.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Although we are so excited to look back on all of our images from our special day, we kindly ask that everyone keep their phones and other devices put away during the ceremony. We have a phenomenal photographer who will be there so not a moment is missed! You are absolutely able to take photos after the ceremony or before starting, but please be respectful of our photographer.

Social Media Posting

We can not wait to see everyone's unique perspective on our day! We do kindly ask that you refrain from posting photos of the ceremony or reception itself until after the wedding is finished, allowing everyone to truly be enjoying the moment. If you have been given direct permission from Hannah or Matthew you may post sooner. We appreciate everyone honoring our wishes!

Will we receive a formal invitation?

Answer

Due to cost and the ease of only sending one set out, you will only receive the save-the-date invitation and will not be receiving a secondary invite. All of the necessary wedding related information can be found on your save the date as well as throughout our website here. We appreciate your understanding!

Smoking

Answer

Please note that there is absolutely NO smoking or vaping of any kind allowed on the property of our venue. We ask that if you are needing to partake in any of these activities that you do them before or after the wedding and be off property while smoking. We appreciate your understanding.
