The best way to get to Sintra is to fly into the Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) and either take: 1) 30 minute Uber or Taxi from the airport to either recommended hotel below 2) 50 minute Train from the Oriente Station to Sintra (last stop) Direct flights to Lisbon are available from major cities such as San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia, Paris, London, Rome, etc.

This hotel is a 15 min walk, or 20 min drive to our wedding venue and is a great option for those traveling with a nanny and need more than one (1) room for the weekend as well as those who prefer more privacy and quiet from the wedding venue. Travel Note
Ubers are not common within Sintra because of their narrow, one way streets. We recommend renting a car if you plan on taking day trips out of Sintra or if you prefer to explore within the town, either recommended hotel can help with reserving TukTuks to take you around the downtown/palace areas. Tuktuks are auto rickshaws that are used to take tourists around the city's narrowest streets. They're a fun alternative to taxis and an excellent way to explore. We plan to provide shuttles from the recommended hotels to the wedding events.
