Best (vehicle) Woman
Not long into our relationship, in fact it was during our second date, that Matt conveyed his plan of leaving beautiful Hawaiʻi and going to live in a van for a while. Genevieve didn’t imagine leaving the island life, but she also couldnt imagine a life without young Matthew so they made a plan for a life on the road and stuck to it. Living in 80 square feet, it taught us about patience, love, and more about the mechanics of a vehicle than ever desired. So far we have visited more than 25 National Parks while gallivanting across the U.S. and have gone more than 8 consecutive days without a shower. If this trip was going to teach us anything, it would surely teach us to appreciate having a shower let alone a working toilet. Reach out to us if you have a driveway!
The Best Dog
Mosa is the newest addition to our family who brings us the most joy, stress, happiness, sleepless nights and every other emotion under the sun! He is learning everyday and is teaching us how to be dog parents. Mosa will be making a special guest appearance at our wedding and cannot wait to meet every single one of you! (But for real he loves people a lot!)
Best Man
Jimmy and I met in college at Florida State University-the only real college in Florida. We became close in Tallahassee when we were just young boys trying to paint the town red and our friendship has grown into more of a brotherhood over the years. Jimbo is smart, determined, and in a lot of ways is truly my spirit animal. He recently completed a life goal of hiking from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail. He is a beast Ultrarunner - just check out his thighs for proof! More than an athlete, Jimmy is a truly amazing person. He's blunt to a fault and cares for others like family. When I have a philosophical life questions, Jimbo is my guy as I always know that I'll be welcomed with open ears and unfiltered advice. My advice to you is - get yourself a friend like Jimmy!
Maid of Honor
Sarah is my favorite sister ever and best friend. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have her in my life. Sarah is the all around best, most selfless and honestly the most fun person ever. She is always down to have a good time, play pub golf, float down any and all rivers and fly to Hawaii to spend every spring break with me for the past 5 years. On top of being the best person to have a good time with she is also the most loyal and great sister. So so so honored to have her as my maid of honor and my sister forever. :)
Groomsman
Sean is my oldest friend in the entire world. We met when I was just a couple years old as we grew up just a few houses away from each other in Davie, FL. Sean and I had a passion for fishing and still do till this day whenever we're in the same town as each other. Have you ever had a friend that you haven't spoken to in a while, but when you do its as if you just spoke to them yesterday? That is Sean for me. Although we don't live in the same State, we pick up right where we left off as only brothers would. Sean makes a living as a firefighter/EMT paramedic, something he has been very passionate about for a long time. One day I hope to live in the same town as Sean so we can continue the fishing we started in 1989.
Bridesmaid
I have known Elizabeth since sophomore year of high school. It may be the fact that we have the same birthday or that she has the best heart but we were immediately drawn to each other. (oh and the fact that I pretty much stalked her and made her by my friend...) But, I am so happy that Liz will be standing by my side during our wedding day. She has walked through so many different walks of life with me and knows me better than almost anyone. Thanks for always being there for me B.
Groomsman
David is my brother from another mother. He and I originally became friends in high school at Archbishop McCarthy in 2005. Our friendship resulted in becoming roommates in Tallahassee where we had some of the best parties of our lives and held each other accountable as workout partners. We are so alike that we actually got called Twins by a stranger in Tallahassee, believe it or not! :) He recently got married to his beautiful wife Feiona - the sky is the limit with that duo! David always continues to impress me with his passion for life and happiness. I always say I would rather surround myself with a few quarters than a bunch of pennies when it comes to my friends. I am thrilled to say that David is definitely one of my original quarters!

Sarah and I met the first year I lived in Hawaiʻi. She had just moved to Oahu with her (now husband) Seth and we both knew Jen. We met at Whole Foods for happy hour and immediately became friends. When I think of my time in Hawaii and all the great memories, most of them are with Sarah. We spent countless hours on the beach and mountains, talking about and listening to Taylor Swift, watching survivor and sitting in each others living rooms drinking good beers.
Groomsman
Jordan is one of my oldest friends. We were buds in middle school, high school, college, and beyond. We bonded over hockey initially and grew up being quite competitive with each other. I think Jordan is single handedly responsible for my competitive spirit. Whether it was a foot race, a grade on a test, or the first one to score a goal - we always pushed each other, constantly. When Jordan got sick of his job in 2013 I agreed that corporate America was no place for wild stallions like us, we bought backpacks and visited 17 countries across Europe for three months. Jordan now lives out his childhood dream everyday as he saves lives working as a firefighter/EMT paramedic. He is a definitely a dreamer and so am I - hence why we've gotten along all these years!
Bridesmaid
Christina was my freshman year roommate in college. We were put together randomly and I could not be happier that we were. We both were terrified meeting in person after sending a couple messages before school started but quickly became best friends. Christina is the feistiest, most amazing and caring friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life. Christina & he her husband Brian have two of the cutest baby girls and I love watching her be an amazing momma!
Groomsman
Chad is my cousin by love and he is the man! Father of three, Doctor of Psychology, and just simply, an amazingly awesome person! His Dad (my Uncle Chuck) and my Dad were college roommates back at some no name college in Gainesville, Florida back in the early 80s. We grew up going on family vacations together. Whether it was playing racquetball in Georgia, going to Smithsonians in Washington D.C., or collecting nudie playing cards unknown to our parents in Las Vegas as 12-year olds - we always had a fun time doing whatever it was! Chad and I really took our friendship to new heights in Tallahassee when followed in our Dads' footsteps and we became college roommates. We rocked Tally as bandmates and he is an absolute beast on the drums! Someday we'll get back on the stage once again!
Bridesmaid
Megan and I met when I was living in Eugene and working at Brails coffee about 7 years ago. We started with just me making her coffee to me copying her clothes to her visiting me over and over in Hawaiʻi to her finally moving to Hawaii. I cherish all different levels of our friendship and all the great Hawaiʻi memories we have. Megan had the cutest baby girl, Hadley (our flower girl) while living in Hawaii and it's been amazing to see her become an amazing mom and continue to be an amazing friend.
Groomsman
Alex is a college roommate of mine and a fellow band mate. We tore up Tallahassee together for a number of years and we're still wondering if our band's hiatus should be over or not! Alex becomes a master at anything he touches and isn't afraid to jump into the unknown, much like me. Our competitive spirit is on all time highs when we are together, especially if MarioKart is the game were playing! We've seen each other grow in ways that I'm sure has surprised the both of us equally and I am proud and honored to have him stand next to me on this day. Aloha mah d00d!
Bridesmaid
Jen is the Zoe to my Zoey. I met Jen the day I moved into my first house in Hawaiʻi and was pleasantly surprised that she followed up on an invite to a 4th of July party at her house. After that we became best friends. I love that Jen is always down for an adventure or a day of mimosas, acting like the weather is crappy outside and binge watching documentaries. I have had so many amazing Hawaii days, weekends and trips with Jen and can not think of many Hawaii memories without Jen being there.
Groomsman
Casey is my older, wiser, and wild brother. He and I originally met when I landed my first job in the Elevator world in Miami, FL. We enjoyed each other's company back then in 2011, but our bond didn't officially take flight until I visited he and his fiancé (Aileen) in Hawaii during my sabbatical in 2013. With no job and no real direction they took me in and fed me pizza & PBJ for days. I practiced breakdancing on their floor only to show them my new moves when they returned home from work! Casey took a chance on having me visit and I am forever grateful. For they are truly the reason I ended up moving to Hawaii in the first place! Our friendship grew stronger over the years on the island and there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for him - brother for life!
Bridesmaid
Cait and I have been friends since college and got to be housemates for a couple years after. Cait has the biggest heart and has been there for me in so many ways over the years. She has been a constant friend in my life and I’m so thankful for her! Her and her husband, Hans gave birth to their first baby boy this year and it’s so fun seeing her be an amazing mom!
Groomsman
Cody is a wild stallion, born to run free. He and I moved to Hawaii around the same time and we met as a result of a blind friend date our mutual friend had set up. He is truly a "yes man" and I admire that most about him. He isn't afraid to try something new and just charge full steam ahead. I have shared some of the best times of my life with Cody by my side and I wouldn't change a thing - however, my liver probably would..He is the type of friend that will always be your side no matter what. Miles definitely can't cut the ties we've made. If you don't have a friend like Cody in your life, you simply aren't living!
Bridesmaid
Jasmine and I met in college and ended up both studying social work! We got to live together during a summer between school years and a couple years after college while we were all figuring out our next steps. It was so fun living with best friends and I absolutely love the memories of that time! We also got to travel to Europe during our junior year and it was the best experience and I hope we all get to go back someday! Jasmine is such a wonderful and constant friend to those around her and I’m so happy to have her in my life!
Groomsman
Born in Spain and raised in Germany, Alan made his way to the States for College at none other than the Florida State University. We met through a mutual friend the first week of College and we instantly hit it off. We loved all of the same music and constantly went to rock shows all over Florida. I was fortunate enough to visit Alan and his family in Ramstein, Germany where he grew up during my Euro trip. My boy Alan is a straight hustler. He is a manager in SEO amongst many other talents. He is not only a thinker, he is a doer I admire that most about him!
Bridesmaid
Sam and I have been friends since college. We led Young Life together and I got the chance to live with her and her family in Alaska for a summer. Sam is such a great friend, with a huge heart and always down for a fun adventure. Sam and I don’t always get to see one another or chat much but when we do it’s like nothing has ever changed. I’m thankful for her friendship and she’s about to have her first baby with her husband, Jake! I cannot wait to see how wonderful of a mother she will be!
