To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. Michigan attendees - please RSVP for the Michigan reception so we can give a number to our caterer! However, the deadline is January 28, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, or any sort of communication from you as you make your decision, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as "no." We need to provide our vendors with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.
Absolutely not! Emily will stop the whole ceremony to pluck your phone from your hands and throw it in the lake! We have a professional photographer that will capture the ceremony for us. She's much better at it than you, and your phone appearing in the photos will most certainly ruin the investment we made in our wedding photography. We'll share her photos so you can post them after the wedding. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
Semi-Formal. Men: The formula is super simple: a suit with a button-up shirt and dress shoes. For daytime events, a blazer and slacks or a lighter suit are always reliable, but for evening weddings (or if you want to err on the side of caution), we suggest wearing a classic dark suit. Finish your look with a standard necktie - please no polos or shorts. Ladies: Women can wear midi dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats).
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, it will appear on the RSVP page. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance.
Out-of-town guests will land in Fairbanks. Harding Lake is 45 minutes south of Fairbanks, traveling on the Richardson Highway. North Pole is located between Fairbanks and Harding Lake.
Lodging is limited at Harding Lake, and the area is pretty remote. Guests should consider staying in Fairbanks or North Pole. Fairbanks is much larger than North Pole, but there are hotels and Airbnb's in both areas.
We highly suggest renting a car and carpooling out to Harding Lake. Ubers are limited and costly, particularly to and from Harding Lake. Fairbanks and North Pole have little to no public transportation available.
Kids are welcome - please note that the ceremony and reception areas are bordered on one side by a roadway and the other side by a giant body of water. Please keep a close eye on kids at all times.
Yes - for beer, wine, and seltzers.
