Our love story began in 10th grade, on a park bench during the late hours of a summer night. We shared an instant, easy connection, talking and laughing until the early morning. Our feelings grew with every encounter, but for one reason or another, things never materialized. Eventually, we were pulled in different directions until our paths stopped crossing altogether. Five years passed without a conversation, an encounter, or even a glance, but still, those feelings and thoughts of what could have been persisted as an afterthought in our minds. Over the years, without either of us knowing, our high school crush became running jokes and “what if” hypotheticals among friends and family. Then came New Year’s Eve, 2019. After a last-minute change of plans, we found ourselves at the same party, now older, maybe a little wiser, but most importantly at the right time in our lives where that initial connection sparked seven years earlier could ignite into something truly special. And it did. That night, we reconnected, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. In 2022, we got engaged. And now, here we are, ready to begin the next chapter of our love story. We can’t wait to celebrate this day with the people who mean the most to us!
