Take the drive up Pike's Peak! Its a breath taking view the entire drive up! Paved, two-lane road.
This is the park that our ceremony is being held. There are many hiking trails and places to go just in the park itself!
We went white water rafting is Estes and it was so much fun!! There are a few different outfitters in the CoSprings area to check out!
Highly recommend taking the drive through RMNP! It may be a little bit of a drive, but it's beautiful! Many places to stop and have a picnic, take photos, and you will probably see wildlife throughout your drive! We were stopped by an elk when we went through! The shop/cafe near the summit is a fun place to visit as well!
Fun outdoor shopping downtown Denver! They have the usual stores a mall would, plus a few "tourist traps" for souvenirs! Walking distance to Coors Field (where the Rockies play)!
Highest paved road in North America! Breathtaking views! Pretty narrow road up/down & highly recommend going during the daylight!! We seen a whole group of mountain goats at the summit when we went! It was pretty cool watching them climb the impossible (or what it seemed). Also spotted some marmots along the way up!
Self-Guided tour! The best Coors you'll ever have right from the brewery! When we went, you got a small glass midway through and then 2 free beers at the end! Golden is a cute town to adventure around as well!
Walkable zoo! Nothing too crazy that the kids can't handle. Went a couple times and it was always an enjoyable experience.
Fun and unique aquarium! They even had a tiger when I went!
Our amazing wedding planning team has came up with this "Insider's Guide to Colorado Springs" for us and our guests! They are both from Colorado Springs and know the area much better than us, obviously! Take a look for even more suggestions!
