A great beach to walk to from town! This beach includes a trail down to the beach, which continues past the beach to wind through the rainforest to other trails and lookouts.

Two ~2km boardwalk loop trails through the rainforest (one on either side of the highway)!
At the far left-hand side of Cox Bay is this hidden trail which takes you up to a viewpoint overlooking the beach and giving a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Please be aware this trail is step and muddy!
