Question

Can I attend the private ceremony?

Answer

Thank you for joining us to celebrate our wedding weekend! We will be having a morning ceremony and exchanging vows at a summit in Shenandoah National Park on Saturday. Unfortunately, due to strict National Park rules, permit requirements, and the remote location, we are unable to extend the invite to guests outside of our parents and bridal party.

Question

Are children/babies invited?

Answer

Due to space constraints at the Brewery, and so that all guests can enjoy a night of fun and relaxation, our reception will be adults only.

Question

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

For the reception at Pro Re Nata Brewery on Saturday, there is a shuttle to and from Waynesboro hotels. Please see the "Hotel and Transportation" page for additional details.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

October is a beautiful time in the Shenandoah Valley. Most days are clear, with average high temperatures around 68F and average low temperatures around 50F.

Question

Are the welcome party, cocktail hour, and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The welcome party on Friday at Valley Road Vineyards is a hybrid space. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The cocktail hour on Saturday at Pro Re Nata Brewery is planned to be outdoors. Dinner and dancing will take place inside with patio remaining open all night!

Question

Where are some places to Eat near hotels and venues ?

Answer

Waynesboro, VA: The Fishin Pig, Greenleaf Grill, Farmhaus Coffee, French Press Coffee, The River Burger Bar, Heritage on Main St., Benny Stivale's Afton, VA: Blue Mountain Brewery **There is also Panera, a Five Guys, Outback Steakhouse, Chipotle, Chick-fil-a, Ruby Tuesdays and Cracker Barrel right near Waynesboro Hotels

Question

If a tree falls in the forest, but nobody is around to hear it fall, does the fallen tree actually make a sound?

Answer

Yes, it makes a sound, that being a disturbance in the fluidic medium, air. When the tree falls it causes a disturbance in the air pressure field in the woods and that pressure field emanates away from the fallen tree. The physics of this phenomenon are quite well understood, and very independent of any soul being there to hear the sound.
