Things To Do

We have listed a few of our favorite places in Augusta for our guests who will be staying for a little longer. If you are looking for something different or more specific, do not hesitate to contact us! We both love trying new things so we have been to most of sites in town.

The Boll Weevil Cafe and Sweetery

10 James Brown Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30901
, (706) 722-7772

This is a great place to have lunch as they have a number of soups and sandwiches. Their cakes are outstanding too (The groom loves their red velvet cake)!

Whiskey Bar Kitchen

1048 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901
, (706) 814-6159

This place has been a staple for us while we have lived in Augusta. Their burgers and appetizers are great. They have a full service bar (Groom loves the Broad Street Sour). Outdoor seating is available.

Sole Augusta

1033 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901
, (706) 432-9898

This is a fusion restaurant that puts together two of our favorite foods: burgers and sushi! The bar is reasonably priced (and good) and their outdoor seating has heating. The bride recommends the Jalapeño Grapefruit Mule and the Mozzarella Jalapeño Grit Fritters. The groom recommends the mashed potato eggrolls.

Topgolf

437 Topgolf Way, Augusta, GA 30909
, (706) 524-0516

For those who want something to do while being outside-ish, this is the place for you with tasty food and drinks. It is a bit pricey, but we found it to be a lot of fun with friends!

Source Code Escape Games

1025 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901
, (762) 222-8532

Axe throwing and escape rooms? What else could you want. Note from the bride: No axe wounds before the wedding.

Augusta Riverwalk

10th Street, Augusta, GA 30901
, (706) 821-1754

Enjoy a relaxing walk along the river. On Saturday mornings, there is a small market along the Riverwalk.

Savannah Rapids Pavilion

3300 Evans to Locks Road, Martinez, GA 30907
, (706) 868-3349

The bride's favorite walking/running spot with scenery ranging from waterfalls to turtles!

Metro Coffee House

1054 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901
, (706) 722-6468

During the day, they serve coffee and tea. At night, they serve some of the best drinks in Augusta (yes, including alcoholic hot chocolate and coffee). One of the popular spots to hang out with friends and drink.

Manuel's Bread Cafe

505 Railroad Avenue, North Augusta, SC 29841
, (803) 380-1323

Try Sunday brunch at this smaller restaurant. You might want to call ahead or reserve a seat, but it is worth it! Groom: Bonus points if you order the Crème Brule.

DiVino Ristorante Italiano

465 Railroad Avenue, North Augusta, SC 29841
, (803) 426-8675

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. We highly recommend that you get a reservation first if you choose to dine here.

Arsenal Tap Room + Kitchen

1419 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904
, (706) 925-2960

One of the groom's favorite spots with grilled cheese and a wide variety of beers. What else could you want? The bride loves the outdoor garden seating.

Soy Noodle House

1032 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901
, (706) 364-3116

Looking for a wide variety of Asian cuisine? This restaurant is probably for you.

For all the days along the way
