FAQs

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE WEDDING?

Answer

All-white semi-formal, inspired by sailing the French Riviera Refined yet relaxed. Elevated, but comfortable for a full day at sea. Think tailored shorts or lightweight trousers with crisp collared shirts or polos. Breathable fitted dresses or chic jumpsuits designed for warm weather and movement. We’re aiming for yacht-polished — not beach-casual. Details: • Palette: white, off-white, ivory, or cream • Shoes will be removed upon boarding (standard for catamarans) — guests will be barefoot onboard • Optional: swimsuit & towel for swimming and paddle boarding

Question

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE IN NICE?

Answer

We suggest you arrive in Nice by Thursday to reset in a new timezone. Arrival on Friday at the latest to join the Friday evening Welcome Party.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE TO BOARD THE BOAT?

Answer

Please arrive by 11:00 AM for on-time boarding and departure. The ceremony will take place at our first anchored stop along the coast. The Port of Nice is easily at 10 minute walk from the wedding hotels. Taxis and Ubers are also readily available if needed.

Question

WHAT IS FOR LUNCH AT SEA?

Answer

Lunch and snacks will be served onboard throughout the day, featuring a generous Mediterranean-inspired menu. Highlights include gravlax salmon, seared tuna and scallops, Niçoise-style vegetables, savory skewers, French cheeses, fresh fruit, and classic Riviera desserts like mini canelés and Tropezian tarts. The menu will include plenty of vegetarian-friendly options

Question

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN NICE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER?

Answer

We should expect daytime highs in the 70s to low 80s with mostly dry weather—late-summer warmth without the peak summer heat.

Question

SHOULD WE EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE BOARDING?

Answer

Yes, it’s a long, celebratory day on the water, so please enjoy a good breakfast before boarding. Think espresso, croissants, classic French pastries, and something hearty like a French omelette. Lunch will be served onboard in the early afternoon after the ceremony.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I BRING ON THE BOAT?

Answer

We recommend: • Sunglasses & sunscreen • A swimsuit & towel • Motion sickness medication if necessary • A light cover-up or layer for later in the day

Question

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Only in the case of severe weather would the boat be cancelled. We’ll keep guests informed if plans need to change.
