Question

What is the latest COVID-19 Protocols?

Answer

Plan on bringing your mask and wearing it in public spaces (there will be signage. If you still would like to wear your mask- you are more than welcome to do so! We want everyone to feel comfortable. Unvaccinated individuals will be required to wear masks when not eating or drinking. Dane County currently has a mask mandate for public spaces for all (vaccinated and unvaccinated) individuals through the year. We will keep the website up to date with additional mask and/or testing requirements. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out directly to Matt & Katherine. We kindly ask unvaccinated individuals wear a mask at all times at our wedding, and expect you to abide by this request or abstain from in-person celebrations. Stay safe, healthy, and we encourage everyone to get the vaccine and booster. We are looking forward to celebrating (safely) with you in December!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to Garver?

Answer

Yes! The AC Hotel will be our location for the shuttle. There will be 2 shuttles at 2:00 and 2:30. Please do not wait for the last shuttle, as there will be approx. 60 seats. If there is not space, you should still have enough time to catch a ride-share. Starting at 8:45 PM, there will be a shuttle running every hour back to the AC Hotel (Downtown capitol square) with the last two shuttles both leaving a bit before midnight. Guests may leave their car overnight at Garver at no charge. Please drive responsibly!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional: Kilts and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and formal cocktail dresses. No jeans, please. The floor is poured concrete with a lacquer, so it may be a little slippery for stilettos!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes. There are over 100 free parking spots available if you choose to drive.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a traditional registry at Target and Crate & Barrel. We also have a bathroom renovation registry on Zola!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, absolutely. We just ask that you remember to include them in your RSVP status.

Question

I have a dietary restriction, are you able to accommodate my needs?

Answer

Most likely, yes. Be sure to include that information in your RSVP. Dinner will be served family style, and we will include details on the menu cards about common allergens/sensitivities. Reach out to Matt & Katherine if you'd like more details about the menu or have questions!
