North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

Most of the museums in Raleigh are free and this one's a fun one to walk around inside on a hot day. Don't miss the sky bridge that takes you to the second building!

Wrightsville Beach

If you're in town for the whole weekend, we highly recommend the beautiful beaches of North Carolina. This one's about a 2 hour drive. We frequently go here as a day trip!

Marbles Kids Museum

Another great museum in the area for kids and right downtown!

One of the largest beer gardens in the world with over 350 beers on tap!

Pullen Park

Our favorite park to walk to. Don't miss the pedal boats around the pond!

State Farmers Market

Largest year-round farmers market in the country! Don't leave without grabbing some fresh local peaches.
