Mattea & Kobie first met in 2021 at her sister Britta’s wedding to Kyle. While it might sound like a lucky coincidence, their introduction was actually carefully planned by several people at the wedding who thought they’d be perfect together! It took most of the day for them to finally talk, but once they did, the connection was instant. That night they shared their very first dance (and several games of cornhole). Afterward, they went their separate ways for the final year of college, but fate stepped back in when Kobie showed up at Mattea’s college graduation party. From that point on, the two were inseparable. Over the next three years, they navigated long distance with endless phone calls, spent countless hours fishing (or napping) on the boat, celebrated holidays and vacations with family, and created so many memories together. Kobie proposed at their favorite hiking spot in Tettegouche State Park, followed by a surprise dinner with both families. Now, as they take this next step, Mattea and Kobie are so excited to share this next chapter with you!
