The Center for Great Apes provides a permanent sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, from research, from the exotic pet trade, or from other situations where great apes need rescue and lifetime care. Caitlin (Chickey) knows one of the orangutans that lives in this incredible sanctuary. Her name is Pumpkin. The Center relies on donations to run and we'd much rather you give to a cause that's important to us.
