What day should I arrive to the island?

Answer

Friday or Saturday! For anyone who will be in Chios on Friday, we will have a welcome drinks event, but Saturday will be the first official day of the wedding weekend.

How do I get to the island?

Answer

Reaching Chios is convenient with direct flights from Athens International Airport. Both Aegean Airlines and Sky Express offer multiple daily flights to Chios Island (JKH).

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Completely up to you! While all the hotels listed are walking distance to the town center, you will need a car to get to the beaches. However, if you choose to not rent a car, cabs are readily available to take you anywhere you'd like to go. On the day of the wedding, we will provide transportation to and from the venue!

Do you have any beach recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Under the 'Things To Do' tab, we have listed a few of our favorite beaches and villages for you to visit.

Do you have any restaurant recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Under the 'Things To Do' tab we have added some of our favorite restaurants, gyro shops and bakeries to try! End of July tends to be a busier time on the island, so we would recommend calling the restaurants to make a reservation.

Do I need to make reservations at the restaurants?

Answer

All restaurants take reservations, but you can usually walk in and find a spot at any of the restaurants we recommended.

Does GPS work on the island?

Answer

Yes! Waze and Maps is available to help you drive or walk any place you'd like to go.
