Twelve miles from downtown Santa Fe on NM 475. Take Bishop's Lodge Road to Artist Road, which will turn into NM 475, also known as Hyde Park Road. Park at Big Tesuque Campground (further up the mountain than Little Tesuque) to hike multiple different trails of different skill levels through the scenic changing Aspens.
Note: Nikki and her family have bricks in Cathedral Park, to the side of the cathedral.
Note: The oldest church - older than the United States of America.
Note: Nikki walks to the Cross of the Martyrs weekly from her office on Marcy St. This is a small, paved hike with great views (and lots of stairs).
Note: Nikki's favorite trinket shop and a very cute local spot to walk through for fun.
Note: Try the iconic Swirl - a regular treat for Matt and Nikki at the end of a long work week.
Note: Excellent local breakfast, arrive early to avoid a long wait.
Note: Nikki's favorite, a French cafe with delicious entrees and pastries. This is where Nikki and Matt ate lunch the day they decided to put an offer on their current home.
