Jennifer and Nicole met in kindergarten and is one of Nicole's oldest and greatest friends. With over 30 years of friendship, they have always been there for each other in the good and not so good times. Oh the stories they could tell! From elementary school, high school dances at CM, countless hours riding around in Jen's car, nursing clinicals, you name it... they've seen it all together. Nicole was honored to stand beside Jen as she married the love of her life and now is ecstatic for Jen to do the same for her. Nicole couldn't imagine a more suited person for the role of matron of honor.

Jenna and Nicole met a few years ago at work, but their friendship really blossomed when they were forced to share a room together on a trip to Iceland with other co-workers. It was there they realized that they had so much in common and could travel really well together. Since then, they have visited another 11 countries and a handful of domestic locations together. This year, they both embark on separate journeys: marriage, and just as Nicole stood with Jenna as she married the man of her dreams, she is elated and honored for Jenna to stand with her.

Angela and Nicole met at work in a slightly unconventional way. Without getting into too much detail, they became fast friends bonding over the trials and tribulations of their job. They've had many fun times together including galavanting around Nashville and Vegas, and hoping to run into reality TV celebrities in LA. Angela is a busy mom of three, but that hasn't stopped her from always being the life of the party and down to have fun. She is light-hearted, but loves deeply and is the best friend to have on your team. Nicole is so thrilled for Angela to be a big part of her special day.

Kelly and Nicole met in freshman year of college. It was their English professor that told the class to look at the students to their right and left and said, those people are going to be your friends throughout the rest of college and beyond. Well she was right, Kelly was sitting to Nicole's right and almost 20 years later they are still close friends. Nursing school was tough, but they had each other to lean on and shared so many fun memories as well. From having many beach days, late nights and early mornings studying, celebrating their 21st birthdays, and traveling to Jamaica, San Diego, and Mexico together. Fun fact: Kelly is the reason Nicole fell in love with San Diego and moved here almost 12 years ago! Having been such a huge part of each other's transformational years and beyond, there was no doubt that Nicole would want Kelly by her side on her special day.

Mazen Makhamreh

Mazen will tell you that he is the reason we are all gathering together for this joyous occasion. Although he did not formally introduce Matt and Nicole, they did meet at a party he hosted at his apartment. Mazen and Nicole both moved to San Diego in the same year and met within the first few months of living here. They hung out together almost every weekend and quickly became San Diego "locals" by enjoying libations at some of the finer establishments in the Gaslamp area. Through the years, they maintained their close friendship and consider each other their first and best friend in San Diego. Mazen and Matt met through mutual friends several years ago and would see each other at various get togethers and events. It is due to Mazen's outgoing personality, contagious laughter, zest for life, and overwhelming hospitality that he has brought so many people together as friends, and now husband and wife! Choosing Mazen to fulfill the role of marrying them was a no-brainer.
