Lakeside Historical Society

For you history buffs, the Lakeside Historical Museum is a great place to learn about the history of Lakeside and the Flathead Valley. There are exhibits on the Native Americans, the early settlers, and the logging industry.

A great place to hike -- Wild Horse Island State Park is a short drive from Lakeside. You can hike to the top of the island for stunning views of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains.

You can rent a paddleboard from many local rental shops in Lakeside, and extra credit for those who join a paddleboard yoga class.

Quinn's Hot Springs Resort

There are a number of hot springs you can visit within 50-90 miles, Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort is supposed to be one of the coolest, though it's a bit further out. If you go, make sure to book reservations in advance, just in case.
