Visit Mount Bonnell for the best view in Austin, overlooking downtown, Lake Austin and into the Hill Country. The lookout point is up a steep staircase, but is worth the exercise!
Looking for an authentic Texas BBQ experience? If you have a car, we recommend taking a drive to the Salt Lick. It's located a bit out of town in the Hill Country, but they've been smoking great BBQ since 1969. The restaurant is cash only and BYOB, so come prepared!
