We ask that you RSVP no later than March 31 in order to provide an accurate headcount to the restaurant!
There ceremony will be taking place at 3pm at the Stonington Lighthouse Museum in Stonington borough, Stonington CT. This is a historic village right on the water with a rich history (Google the Battle of Stonington!). Dinner will take place at 5 pm down the road in Mystic CT at the Treehouse at the Oyster Club Restaurant. This is about a 15 minute drive from the ceremony site.
The ceremony begins at 3pm, so we are asking folks to begin to arrive at the Stonington Lighthouse Museum at ~2:30pm so that everything stays on track!
Parking in Stonington can be found along Water Street and also at Stonington Point, located at the end of Water St. (just past the Lighthouse Museum). In Mystic, parking can be a bit tricky so plan accordingly. Street parking is largely available on West Main Street, Water St. (the Mystic one!!) and various side streets. There is also a paid lot right near the Oyster Club, which can be utilized. Carpooling is definitely encouraged to minimize headaches finding parking day-of!
Whatever makes you look and feel good! Our dress code leans towards garden/cocktail attire, but wear whatever makes sense for the weather! The ceremony will be outside by the water and involves walking on grass, so take that into consideration shoe and sweater-wise!
Whatever you want! We wanted to allow time for people to mosey over to Mystic, check into hotels and get settled! There are lots of great shops and bars in downtown Mystic that we invite you to explore as we take photos and make our way over to the Oyster Club. For those that arrive early, The Treehouse also has a bar that is open to the public, feel free to come down and grab a drink before dinner!
Having our friends and family celebrate our special day is the greatest gift of all! However, if you are looking for wedding gift ideas, feel free to check the "Registry" tab above, and we have created a honeymoon registry at https://www.travelersjoy.com/kimandmatt2024
We have been fortunate to have found such a great community of friends here in Westerly/Mystic--and throughout our lives!. We wanted to find a way that we could celebrate with all the folks that mean so much to us in a way that was casual and fun and come-as-you-are. We hope people join us at the Harp and Hound to share a few drinks and laughs and to toast our new lives as a married couple!
