Wedding Party

Here is a preview of some of the wonderful people in our lives.

Frankie DiCesare

Bride

This loud, enthusiastic, human is the bride we are embracing at this wedding. She is known for: having an obsessive (kind of weird) love of fish and sharks, overly expressive facial features, giving hugs that last way too long, a passion for beer, being excessively empathetic, and loving her people to the end of the Earth.

Matt McCammon

Groom

Matt, our perfect groom may just be the best human you’ve ever met. He's got a smile that makes your heart melt and a sense of adventure that could rival Bear Grylls. His relentless energy for never letting a day go to waste and his enthusiasm for planning adventures big and small means all you have to be is willing and every day is one for the books.

Danielle DiCesare

Best Woman

Danielle is Frankie's amazing, incredibly talented sister (you probably have Danielle to thank for 98% of this wedding). While they live very different lives, they can agree on a few things: 1) Frankie is the fun sister 2) Puerto Rican sabbaticals are ideal 3) If Matt gets stationed in Hawaii he will have both DiCesare girls under his roof.

Tim McCammon

Best Man

Tim is Matt's older brother by 5 years and best man. Growing up, Tim and Matt had a classic brother sibling relationship, in which Matt used every unsupervised moment hitting Tim in an attempt to elicit a reaction and Tim, to avoid getting in trouble, developed the unwavering self control of a Queens Guard.

Amanda Anderson

Bride's Woman

Amanda and Frankie met back in the day at Dayspring UMC. Their friendship blossomed at youth retreats and church on Sunday (and Wednesdays, and sometimes Saturdays). Amanda is always the first and last person Frankie sees when she comes home. She also never lets distance stop her from visiting Frankie, where they enjoy doing very grown-up things like playing at an adult playground in Saint Louis and making sure Frankie wasn't alone on her birthday in Puerto Rico.

Pat Moynahan

Groomsman

Pat was Matt's next door neighbor growing up, and cofounder of a dozen poorly thought out novel sporting events. From riding Radioflyer wagons and Cozy Coupes off ramps in the front yard, to creating new sledding routes through fields of blackberry bushes, they pushed the bounds of extreme sports. In the words of Bodhi from Point Break "If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love." Pat now uses this understanding of risk tolerance at his job as a manager of an insurance company.

Megan Mayall

Bride's Woman

Megan is Frankie's oldest friend. They met when Megan moved to Arizona in first grade. From horseback riding to summers on Catalina, Megan helped shape Frankie into the big weirdo she is today. We are all grateful she did or Frankie would still be galloping like a horse instead of running like a human.

CJ Drake

Groomsman

CJ and Matt met in early high school and Cj quickly became Matt's go-to adventure partner in part due to CJ's total lack of concern for his own safety. Regardless of how far fetched or poorly planned the trip was, CJ always met the challenge with an enthusiastic "sure, I'm not doing anything." This led to mountaineering trips in the Cascades, winter mountain biking across the Oregon coast range, a road trip around the West Coast which took a heavy toll on Cj's car, and an ill-fated crossing of Oregon on the Pacific Crest Trail to name a few.

Richa Date

Bride's Woman

Richa and Frankie met in first grade. Richa became a woman who inspired Frankie to work hard and her mild obsession with Harry Potter sparked Frankie's joy of reading (and subsequent obsession with HP). While old plans for their future hypothetical weddings have changed a bit (you're welcome ladies for not making you wear a full-length gold sequin dress) their friendship never wavered.

Ryan Willis

Groomsman

Ryan an Matt met in middle school when, having mutual friends but not knowing each other, brokered a deal where they would each invite the other to their 12th birthday party. Their friendship progressed to include many of the same adventures as CJ, where Ryan would occasionally suffer crippling injuries (heat stroke, third degree burns, near-life threatening blisters, etc.) without ever mentioning it to the group. Though they haven't lived in the same state for 10 years, their friendship is the kind that always picks up right where they left off.

Sam Kirgis

Bride's Woman

Sam is the positive spark in Frankie's life. Sam and Frankie met in yearbook class. Late nights editing layouts, lazy warm-up laps in track, and coffee dates at Seattle Espresso glued these two together. Rooting for the Bears and Blackhawks have helped the distance feel not so distant.

Josh Brockway

Groomsman

Josh was one of Matt's first friends when Matt moved to his new school in 6th grade. Josh is largely responsible for Matt's weird sense of humor, through his unmatched ability to find obscure nonsense on the internet. Although Josh didn't always have much of an interest in outdoor trips, he was always a good sport about trying. Some of these experiences are still referenced in his standup comedy routine today (no, really, he does standup).

Brittany Lang

Bride's Woman

Brittany and Frankie's friendship blossomed during high school plays, and rummaging through Buffalo Exchange and Changing Hands. They have always made an effort to see each other even in the most remote places. Plus, Brittany has a seemingly telepathic ability to know whenever Frankie is having a hard day which made living alone that much more bearable.

Jake Lodeen

Groomsman

Jake and Matt quickly became friends freshman year of college when they discovered their common interest in coming up with crackpot schemes. This partnership reached its full potential when they were roommates in college for three years. As one of many projects from this time period, they utilized their engineering prowess to found a local space program and build homemade rockets, likely placing them on several government watch lists.

Georgia Martel

Bride's Woman

Georgia and Frankie met in their first ever college class! Long nights (and weeks) of studying for invertebrate zoology and genetics proved studying together is always best. Their passion for the ocean, all things science fiction, their doggos, and horrible makeup trials - where Georgia always looked gorgeous and Frankie looked like a toddler playing with her mom's makeup - made them the best of friends.

Dean Kimmey

Groomsman

During freshman year of college, Dean and Matt met and went on several surfing and snowboarding trips. The friendship continued to develop when Dean moved in with Jake and Matt Junior year of college. Dean is that guy who always seems to find himself in the weirdest situations, a trait that we would later refer to as "Dean Luck". On one such occasion, Dean came home from a long school day with a functional fishing boat an old fisherman had given him nearly for free. "Dean luck" resulted in countless adventures throughout their college years and to this day.

Lauryl Rudolph

Bride's Woman

Lauryl was the first person Frankie met in college and is the reason Matt and Frankie met! (Thanks lady) Their loud, boisterous friendship was formed exploring Fern Canyon, blasting Robyn on road trips, and going on bike rides around Humboldt. Even if there won't be a Katrina Rozelle cake at the wedding maybe they can still sneak a wedding cake tasting in some day.

Bobby McKenna

Groomsman

Bob became friends with Frankie and Matt when he came to visit Puerto Rico for the San Sebastian festival. The following year, Bob came to live with them in Pensacola while he was waiting to buy his house. For the next year, Bob was reliably part of every Pensacola event, from Saturday night WWE SummerSlam, BBQing on air mattresses during river floats and trying to camp on 100 degree nights in Florida.

Aimee Valencia

Bride's Woman

Aimee and Frankie met in Puerto Rico and knew instantly they were meant to find each other. Aimee was Frankie's guide to understanding the Coast Guard. Frankie would have been very lost without her friendship. From exploring the island, to Justin Bieber concerts, to trips to Disney, their wild friendship and love could fill a room.

Conor Regan

Groomsman

Conor was part of a group of Ensigns assigned to Puerto Rico during Matt's first tour. Coincidentally, they all lived within three blocks of each other in Old San Juan making exploring the island together, and an occasional San Juan pub crawls, especially easy. Conor was accepted to flight training and moved to Pensacola several months ahead Matt. When Matt and Frankie moved, Conor and his wife Christine introduced them to everything Pensacola had to offer.

Karisa Kealy

Bride's Woman

Karisa Maurer. One of Frankie's newest old friends. Her spark for everything outdoors fuels Frankie's adventurous flame! She is already quoted nearly daily in Michigan for her famous line "there is no such thing as bad weather only bad gear," it will certainly be put to the test this winter. Frankie and Karisa have been busy planning the next 20 years of trips, without necessarily getting Matt and Nick's (Karisa's husband) approval. Yet.

Ethan Baisden

Officiant

You never leave a day with Ethan without a belly ache from laughing so hard and possibly a headache from too many Medalla's. Ethan met Matt and Frankie in Puerto Rico and boy, I'm not sure either would have made it off that island without him (true story)! Matt and Ethan's sense of humor is so similar it is a friendship for the ages. And Ethan made sure Frankie always had a lunch buddy when Matt was on a patrol. Ethan is caring, hilarious, and a truly wonderful human. We are so lucky he agreed to marry us. P.S. Matt made a bet with Ethan that he will do whatever Ethan does at FrattParty2020, so watch out, it's bound to be a hilarious evening of dancing, joke making, and potentially some torn pants (from all of the dancing).
