This little market is a great place to grab a sandwich, coffee, or some beer or wine. It is a typical country store that can meet a variety of needs. No certain hours, the store owner is a hoot and a half and says his typical work day is from 11am-10pm. He does make his own bread for sandwiches and it is good!

The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium is located an hour from Alderbrook and is around $20 for a ticket. Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is the only combined zoo and aquarium in the Pacific Northwest. The 29-acre zoological park was established in 1905, and attracts about 700,000 visitors a year.
