It all started from a DM! Almost 6 years ago Matthew decided to reach out to Chyanne and see where it would take him. A few sporadic conversations led to a few Facetime dates, and ultimately led to their first date going to see the various Washington D.C. monuments illuminated under the night sky. Little did they know, that night was the start of many date nights to come. Together, Chyanne and Matthew have had date nights stretching from San Diego, California to Dubai in the UAE. They’ve gotten their first international passport stamps together, and vacationed on the other side of the world together.

As they approached the end of 2019, Matthew knew that there was only one person that he wanted to continue to share these experiences with, and he knew he wanted to connect their past to their future. So as Matthew thought about the best location to propose it was only fitting that they revisited the location of their first date and agree to spend the rest of their lives together.
