What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Hopefully beautiful! During this time of year it ranges between mid 60's to high 70's! Pray for sun and fall weather.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

They are both at our venue, Brick South at Thompson's Point. Parking is available on site, but check out our Lyft and Uber codes in the "Travel" section of our site.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception are indoor events. Weather pending the cocktail hour will be outside, still at Brick South.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with appetizers, cocktails, beer and wine!

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

There is no theme, so please come in cocktail attire!

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

After the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, we will be meeting at Top of the East at The Westin Hotel for few cocktails and relaxation before the big day!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Please fill out your RSVP on our website! We will be sad you won't be attending but we appreciate you being a part of our lives nonetheless!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking on site! Don't worry, we will make sure you know where to go with signs. There is limited parking so please carpool if possible! Please see our "Travel" section for a Lyft and Uber code if you would rather not drive.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony will start at 5pm so please arrive at the latest 15 minutes prior to the event!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

It is super easy! Our venue is on Thompson's Point, there is one street to the point and our venue is at the very end of that street.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do have a hotel block! Please check out the "Travel" section of our website for those recommended hotels.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We would love if you would RSVP ASAP! You can complete your RSVP online through our website!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There are no steps in our venue!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be food available during the cocktail hour as well as the reception! Your RSVP will give you the food options for your dinner. We are able to accommodate any special diet options such as gluten- free, please contact us ahead of time!

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately not, however, we have included a Lyft and Uber code for the weekend! Take a look at our "Travel" section.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please do not take any of our decoration from our venue! We spent many months collecting and finding our decor and we be devastated to have it taken.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes please! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #partylikeaparksstar or share using the link http://in.veri.com/to/parkswedding2022?t=e, thank you!

Answer

There are so many options honestly! Here are a few of our favorites: Breakfast - Rose Foods, Blake Orchard, Dutch's, and Becky's Diner! Lunch - The Great Lost Bear, The Highroller Lobster Co., Flatbreat Company and Cheese Louise Portland!
