you + ME

August 21st, 2017 a group of us were headed to Peaks Island for Reggae Fest to celebrate Dee’s birthday (Matt’s mom). After exploring the island for a bit, our group headed to the bar where the Reggae Fest was being held. We, Matt and Cassidy, were the first in line, showed our IDs, and headed right to the bar. We decided to split a bucket of Bud Lights. We found a table and waited for the rest of the group to join. After a few minutes of waiting, Dee came up and said no one else was able to get in and they all took the ferry back. Since we had our bucket of beer the three of us decided to stay and enjoy the music! Once the music fest ended, the three of us headed back to the dock to take the ferry back to Portland. Matt was very quiet on that ride, Dee and Cassidy just gossiped away. The ferry docked and we all headed back to our cars, Dee and Matt were carpooling. Before Cassidy could leave downtown, she got a call from Dee! Dee, at the last minute, decided to head north of Portland and was wondering if Cassidy could take Matt back to Saco (so sneaky!). The whole way, Cassidy talked Matt’s ear off but he was able to at least get a few words in to ask for her number. After a few weeks of texting back and forth, dinners at Cassidy’s most nights of the week, and some date nights out, they made it official! Now, over four years later, many obstacles and adventures, we are very excited to celebrate with you all on September 24th, 2022!
