You can wear literally whatever you want.... really we mean whatever you want! Come in a fancy vintage dress, a chicken suit, or your pajamas! We want our wedding to feel like a festival so whatever is festive to you works for us! Our only suggestions would be to leave the stilettos at home since you will be standing during our short ceremony in the forest and to dress in layers. Felton can get quite chilly in the evenings so plan to get cozier as the night goes on!
There is always the possibility of rain in the Felton/Santa Cruz area due to its climate, so we suggest packing that umbrella just to be on the safe side. The train runs rain or shine with a cover and the reception is inside a hall, but the ceremony will only have the cover of trees so might want to be prepared for that.
Roaring Camp is very dog friendly so if you have a friendly dog you'd like to bring as your date then go for it! Dogs will need to remain on a leash on the train and on the grounds. We only ask that they play well with others in case other guests bring along their doggy dates.
No, pretty please leave the flasks and smoking devices at home.
We will be having a karaoke after party until midnight in the redwood room at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Scott's Valley. There will be 3 shuttle suvs running to the hotel from the venue. There will also be a bar as well as an outside courtyard available with fire pits if you prefer to hang outside. We are currently planning on having a post wedding Sunday brunch at Natural Bridges State Beach. More info on that to follow soon!
